Subclass 651 Visa

E-Visitor Visa allows you to visit Australia for a holiday, sightseeing, social or recreational reasons, to visit family, relatives or friends, a business trip or for other short-term non-work purposes. You can only apply for this visa if you have a passport from an eligible country.

This visa is for people who:

• Plan to visit Australia
• Visit Australia for visitor purposes
• Visit Australia for business visitor purposes

Eligibility Criteria

• Have sufficient funds to support yourself while you are in Australia
• Have incentive to return to your home country
• Have no intention to undertake paid-work during your stay
• Meet health & character requirements
• Have a genuine intention to visit Australia temporarily

You can lodge application for E-Visitor visa online and thus, you do not have to submit paper application. You must lodge visa application while you are outside Australia and you must be outside Australia at the time a decision is made on your application.

Visa applications are usually processed within 48 hours with visa validity of 12 months. You can enter Australia for up to 3 months at a time during the validity period.

E-Visitor Visa allows you to come to Australia for business visitor activities such as to attend conferences, negotiate business, short term project (less than 6 weeks), training sessions or exploratory business visit without requiring any sponsorship.
